Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine, sterile, single-use needles into specific points on the body (called acupuncture points) to promote healing. It is a key component of traditional East Asian medicine that has been used for millennia to treat a variety of health problems.

Electroacupuncture
Electroacupuncture is a modern variation of acupuncture where a gentle, pulsating electric current is applied to acupuncture needles. It is especially indicated for pain, spasms, paralysis and numbness.

Auricular Acupuncture
A modality developed in modern France based on the theory that the ear is a map of all body parts that can be stimulated to regulate dysfunction in the body. It can be performed as a standalone treatment or in conjunction with full-body acupuncture and is particularly helpful in cases of chronic pain, addiction and trauma.

Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy often performed in conjunction with acupuncture that involves the burning of dried mugwort on or close to the body’s surface to stimulate certain points or areas. It may be used to strengthen the immune system, promote circulation and relieve pain and in the treatment of gynecological and obstetrical conditions, fatigue and gastrointestinal disorders.

Cupping
Cupping is an ancient therapy used in many traditional systems of medicine in which round cups are placed on the skin by creating a partial vacuum either manually or with heat to improve local blood flow and facilitate myofascial release.

Gua Sha
Gua sha is a tool-assisted type of massage that uses a smooth-edged tool to gently scrape areas where there is inflammation or stagnation to improve circulation and promote healing.

Tui Na Massage
Tui na (translated as “push pull”) is a type of manual therapy that combines massage, acupressure and other forms of manipulation. It is often used in conjunction with acupuncture to restore physiological balance through the application of techniques such as grasping, rolling, pressing, pushing, kneading and percussing.

Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese herbal medicine draws from a pharmacopeia of hundreds of herbs which are typically combined into formulas that are tailored to each patient to treat a variety of ailments, optimize health and reinforce the effects of acupuncture between sessions.

Nutritional Counseling
In East Asian medicine, a balanced diet is considered a powerful tool to restore and maintain health. Eastern dietary principles rely on food energetics and recognize that no two people have the same nutritional needs. Dietary suggestions are customized to address the health and wellness goals of each patient.

Microneedling
Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a gentle oscillating mechanical pen to insert very fine, short, sterile needles into the skin to stimulate collagen production and the formation of new skin cells while infusing natural topicals into sub-epidermal layers. It can be performed monthly to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, scars, age spots and acne blemishes, improve the effectiveness of topical products, promote hair growth and more.

Nanoneedling
Nanoneedling is a needle-free alternative to microneedling where a handheld stylus oscillates a cartridge with hair-like silicone tips up and down on the skin to infuse natural topicals into the top layer of skin. It is suitable for all skin types and tones and can be performed weekly to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin, reduce pigmentation and improve cell turnover.

LED Light Therapy
LED (light-emitting diode) light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that enters the skin’s layers to improve the skin by promoting collagen synthesis and reducing inflammation.

BioMat® Infrared Therapy
The BioMat® is a thermotherapeutic device that generates deep-penetrating, far infrared rays and negative ions that activate the body at the molecular level to help reduce pain and inflammation, improve circulation, enhance immune function and improve sleep quality.
